At TWC we understand that nutrition and exercise together is the winning combination for permanent weight loss. However, in addition to this, it is vitally important to also address the triggers that got you to that unhealthy weight to begin with. The emotional ties that some of us experience with food can be deadly for our health. We need to identify and address these triggers; making a plan forward for lifelong success.
There are also other factors that affect your weight; such as: hormones, stress, lack of sleep, dehydration, thyroid issues, food sensitivities/allergies, and more. We do not overlook these.
Maintaining your weight can be just as hard as losing the weight in the first place, but it is important that you learn how to do this. In some ways, it is easier to lose the weight than keep it off. That is because keeping it off means you have to change your lifestyle. This can be hard, but it is very do-able when you approach it one step at a time. We are here to walk the journey with you – celebrating the successes and encouraging you when you fall to get up and press on.
We do not have a specific weight loss program. Each person is unique with what they need to do to lose weight and keep it off. Of course, we all have to follow the basic nutrition & exercise principles, but how that looks is different for each individual. You can participate in any program at TWC and lose weight. However, the Personal Training and the Boot Camps will give you that added personal attention and nutrition coaching that you need. You may also decide to hire our Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach or our Certified Health & Wellness Coach to assist you to work through the “stuck” place and move forward with your goals.
