Every athlete goes through trials and tribulations during their career. If you’re an athlete looking to exceed your current athletic performance level, consider athlete performance training at Total Fitness. Whether you are a high school athlete or a professional in your fifties, proper training is crucial to any sport and at Total Fitness, we aim to help you reach every goal you set for yourself.
Building your Athleticism
No matter what sport you play, stretching and strengthening is always a vital component to any athlete. At Total Fitness, we want to build your athleticism through integrated stretching and strengthening so that your body is strong as a whole. This is a crucial element with training as your one sport does not always utilize the entire body. For instance, runners can often get IT band syndrome if they lack in hip strengthening exercises. Basketball and soccer players increase their risk of ACL damage if their surrounding muscles aren’t strengthened enough around that tendon. If you want to compete at a high level and minimize your risk of injury in the long run, Total Fitness can help. Our program includes the practice of flexibility, core strength, balance, plyometrics, speed workouts, agility, and resistance training. We want your body to be strong and nimble as a whole and we believe your athletic performance will reflect that.
Choosing a Type of Sports Training
Since we have a variety of athletes and sports working towards different goals, Total Fitness offers three different types of main athlete performance training. These include:
- Strength and Conditioning – These programs help every athlete become stronger and feel more in shape. Strengthening and conditioning should be a part of every athlete’s regimen. At Total Fitness, we give each of our athletes exercises to work on depending on what they are training for. Whether you are training for a hockey game or tennis match, our coaches will tailor your training to fit your needs
- One-on-one Training – This option can be extremely useful if you either don’t like training with others or desire the intensity that one-on-one training can bring. Whether you are training for an Ironman and need one-on-one encouragement or you are looking to elevate your abilities on the baseball field, one-on-one training can be extremely useful.
- Small Group Training – While less intense, this option can be a positive environment that helps encourage and push you along. Those in small group training encourage, push and elevate each other to hit their individual goals while meeting as a group.
No matter what type of athlete you are, Total Fitness can help bring your athletic performance to the next level. For more information about our athlete performance training, give Total Fitness a call today at (763) 237-3245 or email email@example.com.
